3:40 PM Building Enterprise Level Performance Testing to Enhance Resilience
Following a significant network issue in 2018 Optus set out to put the right tools in place which would prevent similar incidents in future. The result was the production of Tankswarm and Artillery; self scaling performance testing tools which are now available to the public. In this session:
- Utilising Docker and Kubernetes to create self- scaling capabilities
- Building agnostic tools (through APIs, Bamboo, Jenkins) which could be used by all
- How DevOps enabled optus to make 30-50 major changes in one week, following the incident
